Once A Cheater? 5 Types Of Cheaters Revealed

tiger_shhh_640We’ve all heard the saying, once a cheater, always a cheater… but is there truth in this cliché allegation?  Or are we condemning innocent men worldwide, who may have screwed up once or twice, to be bound in that big box of infidelity?  Obviously all men aren’t the same… or are they?  After comparing notes and anecdotes with a seasoned group of girlfriends, wives, and serial daters, we’ve analyzed the data, pin-pointed some patterns, and we’ve broken things down to 5 types of cheaters:

1. The Narcissist.  This guy is more in love with himself than any woman he will ever meet, which makes him the worst kind of cheater.  Narcissistic personalities often go hand-in-hand with lying, manipulation, and abuse.  He is self-serving, greedy, and as vain as they come.  He is also smooth and charismatic, so you won’t realize it as first.  But when you do, run for the hills, and don’t look back.  Narcissists have a problem feeling empathy, and therefor lack remorse or guilt for their actions.

2. The on-the-fencer.  This guy isn’t cheating because he’s heartless, he’s just not sure about you yet.  If you haven’t had ‘the talk’ then he doesn’t even consider it cheating.  If and when he falls for you, and this turns into a real relationship, he will be loyal.  But he hasn’t hopped that fence just yet.

3. The addict.  Yes, sex addition is a thing.  Really.  It sounds crazy, but it’s something you need to understand.  And this type of cheater is gonna cheat cheat cheat cheat.  So learn to know the signs.  For what it’s worth, he still loves you, and he doesn’t mean to hurt you.  Any form of addiction is a real mental health issue, and he can get help (but only if HE wants to).

4. The wanderer.  This guy just can’t commit.  It’s not you, it’s him.  He has a tendency to wander, and suffers from an acute case of FOMO (fear of missing out), and probably has the attention span of a 5 year old.  He’s always looking for the next best thing, so don’t get caught up in his shenanigans.  Just keep in mind… a leopard (or tiger, hehe) never changes it’s spots.

5. The accidental player.
This guy didn’t intend to cheat, but it happened.  He might seem confident and high on self-esteem, but he gets a major ego boost when chicks hit on him, and temptation can be dangerous territory.  Unlike the narcissist who’s in love with himself, this guy is actually quite insecure, and the rush of cheating on you (or just the fact that he can), gets him off.  Simply put… you deserve better.
